Yiddish Summer Program
The four-week annual European Summer Program in Yiddish is an integral part of the Vilnius Yiddish Institute at Vilnius University. The program is internationally known for superb academic instruction and a rich program of cultural events. An unmatchable floavour derives from its location on the five century old campus of Vilnius University. The program's four courses in Yiddish language and literature, ranging from beginners (Yiddish I) through to advanced (Yiddish IV), are university accredited. They meet five mornings weekly for three hours. To receive the completion certificate and university credit, students must attend the entire four-week course and complete daily homework assignements.
