The Summer School develops speaking, reading and writing skills in the Croatian language, and offers participants excellent insights into relevant factors of the Croatian cultural identity. This year language course (50 lessons), adjusted to participants' previous knowledge of Croatian language, will be accompanied by lectures of world-famous experts in Croatian and Slavic studies, and by lectures of respected scientists from the Department of Croatian and Slavic studies, University of Zadar. Apart from the lectures and language course, the program me will be enriched with afternoon workshops through which participants will learn more about Croatian culture. An excursion will be organized in which participants will be introduced to ethnological heritage and gastronomic offerings of the Zadar region.

EUR 400: Tuition fee.
EUR 610: Tuition fee and 2 meals. Accommodation in Youth Hostel (optional): 247 €

Scholarships

One scholarship is granted for a participant of the Summer School. The scholarship covers the tuition and accommodation fee with three meals. Students of Slavic studies from universities outside of Croatia and children of Croatian emigrants are eligible t
