Medical English
This highly interactive, specialist course, aims to provide the student with a sufficient level of Medical English terminology to help develop the communication skills required to converse with English speaking doctors and patients.

What does the course cover?
This 22.5-hour, morning and afternoon course covers a broad range of topics which include:
• Medical vocabulary, terminology, and idioms
• Role-play
• Doctor - Patient relationships
• Understanding medical reports and case studies
• Medical abbreviations
Course materials
Using study material from leading European Universities and medical institutes, this programme is carefully compiled from specialist medical resources, current case studies, topical reports and journals.
What level is required for this course?
In order to apply for this course, students should already have a lower intermediate to intermediate knowledge of English. Students who do not have the necessary level of English are advised to enrol in an additional General English refresher course which they can attend each morning before the Medical English Course in the afternoon.

Can I study Medical English WITH a general English course?
If your level of English doesn't meet the requirements for the Medical English course, it is possible to take a general English course in the mornings followed by afternoon sessions focusing on Medical English.
