iPhone Programming: Blast Off! Design Your Space Adventure
*Ages 13-17*
Do you want to make a game? Learn how to go from idea to app with your first iPhone game project. In this workshop, students will learn how to create an exciting game that uses advanced graphic effects, physics, collisions, and high scores. iPhone games are a great introduction to programming topics and technology because they provide a very visual medium and create an engaging experience. Students in this workshop will learn how to write code using Swift 2 (Apple’s newest programming language) and design UI (user interfaces) with Xcode 7 for the latest iPhone. Students will learn a practical skill that is in demand across the world and will learn how their favorite games are made behind the scenes. Recommended to students who have graduated grade 9 or higher.

Course aim
In this workshop students will learn how to write Swift 2 code and design iPhone apps using Xcode 7. By the end of this workshop students will be able to make an iPhone game and will be able to design app user interfaces.
