The goal of this course is to prepare future managers for confronting the difficult situations that arise when making decisions in the tension-filled area between social, environmental (or ecological), and financial responsibility and sustainability. The course studies the concepts and practices through which ethical leadership can be formed and realized. It focuses on the practical issues of managers in addressing ethical and moral problems in business. Also the question will be addressed, what can be done as individuals to make companies and organisations behave responsibly. Throughout the course ethical decision-making frameworks and approaches at the personal and organizational levels will be explored.
